Time for Fall


It is time for fall at Sandstone Street Bed and Breakfast located in Llano, Texas in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The hill country is a great place to visit during the fall season and only a short drive from San Antonio, Austin, San Angelo, and Waco. Llano is full of exciting activities this month.
Heritage Days - Oct. 18-20 includes an authentic Chuck Wagon meal on the banks of the Llano River, western carriage rides, western music on the square along with arts/crafts vendors, western art/sculpture display at the museum, street dance with Bobby Flores band, quilt show at the Llano County Courthouse and much more.

Enchanted Rock is a short drive away for hiking, rapelling, or just climbing to the top of the natural granite dome. Llano boast several antique and vintage find shops, quilt shops, and unique boutiques.
The sounds of local music can be heard all around town in food and beverage establishments. History abounds in this small town as well. Come visit our museum and restored court house. Drive the neighborhood streets and admire the older homes dating from the early 1900's.

This morning, KEYE  TV aired Llano as their Road Trippin show. Llano has a lot going on and a great place to visit or live. Sandstone Street Bed and Breakfast was showcased in the B&B segment along with other special and unique lodging options in Llano.
Upcoming events this month to celebrate Llano Heritage Days include:

October 13 Heritage Tea and Victorian Fashion Show at Sandstone Street Bed and Breakfast. Call 325-423-2581 for advanced ticket reservations . No tickets sold at the door.

October 18-19 Chuck Wagon Cook-off at Badu Park at noon on Saturday. Tickets available at Llano Chamber of Commerce www.llanochamberof  
The largest original western art display of its kind at the Llano Museum.

October 22  Llano County Library sponsors Llano City Cemetery Tours "Bringing the Past to Life"
